Our Mission and Values

​

LS Health Services is a family-owned allied health clinic that has been operating in the Logan and Scenic Rim regions since 2008, back when you may have called us LS Speech Pathology. When we started out as a small operation working out of borrowed clinic rooms and home offices, we had a simple dream – giving our local community high-quality, reliable allied health support without the need to travel to the city.

 

Since then, our dream has grown and developed quite a bit! Our team has grown in size and diversity, giving us the ability to support more people in more ways across more disciplines and specialties. LS Health Services has grown to be able to provide not just Speech Pathology, but Occupational Therapy, Orofacial Myology and Allied Health Assistance services too. Our team each have unique skills and special interests that allow us to make sure clients are matched to a therapist that is not only highly skilled in the areas they need assistance with, but passionate about it too!

 

Our dedicated facility opened its doors to the community at the start of 2021, allowing us to offer our community a central hub for their allied health care needs. We have also had the opportunity to create a collaborative with the many visiting services that use our facility on a weekly basis. In addition to our in-house services, you can also access  Physiotherapy and Play Therapy from our facility, making it even easier to access all your support needs locally in a place you can feel at home.

 

Although we’ve grown substantially since our days in the director’s backyard clinic room, we pride ourselves on still offering that family feel to our services. We believe in truly connecting with our clients and their families, understanding their individual needs and aspirations, and providing support you can feel confident in.
